We track your progress precisely according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), from level A1 through to C2. Because for Chinese we often start from the basics (learning the four tones through Pinyin at A1/A2 level), you will notice that at first you make big, motivating leaps in your speaking skills at lightning speed. As you move towards the finer points of Chinese (B2/C1), such as complex characters (Hanzi), business etiquette (guanxi) or negotiations, the process demands more time, depth and consistent effort.
